Board Members Present:

First portion of meeting at the district office: Gary Colman, Ted Aven, Wil Sauermilch, Chairman Errol John Dietze arrived shortly after the meeting was opened

SECOND PORITON OF THE MEETING AT CUERO COUNTRY CLUB: All of the above and Bob Davis

ALSO IN ATTENDANCE: Kay Wild

GUESTS: Dr. Kim Jones, Texas A & M University at Kingsville, Environmental Science Dept.

CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 10:45, due to the late arrival of the guest speaker, by Secretary Gary Colman

AGENDA:

1) Dr. Kim Jones information on uranium mining legislation and groundwater reclamation: Dr. Jones visited with the board regarding his efforts to bring GCDs into the process regarding uranium mining and groundwater reclamation. He discussed the current legislation surrounding the permitting and monitoring process. The meeting was closed by Chairman Dietze at 11:45 with a motion by Gary Colman and second by Ted Aven. The board and Dr. Kim Jones proceeded to the Rotary meeting at the Cuero Country Club. The meeting was reconvened at 12:05 by Chairman Dietze.
