PECAN VALLEY GROUNDWATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT

Groundwater Management Area 15

The Pecan Valley Groundwater Conservation District is part of a Groundwater Management Area (GMA) known as GMA-15 that was created by the State. This GMA-15 is one of 16 associations throughout Texas which hold joint planning meetings to adopt a Desired Future Condition (DFC) for relevant aquifers at least once every five years for compliance with state law in Texas Water Code, Chapter 36.
